Happy Halloween!

Today is the last day of October for this year 2014! How will you be spending the night?
I'm going to watch some asian horror movies which will surely make it hard for me to sleep tonight but who cares? xD 
My best antidote is to watch a good comedy, although terrifying scenes will keep haunting me for days. Hahaha...
If I end up staying awake all night I can at least work on the art part for the project, still have a lot things to do and I'm really looking forward on playing the demo. Odd right? :)

I should get back writing Conspiracy sometimes, but without the right humor it's pretty hard to write fluffy fluffy things... ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡
I also want to work on a short visual novel with few choices and image filled story, currently the one I'd love to start is mixing up with another story I had in mind. So for now, I'm trying to give back its original concept and write the script first just to be sure it finishes.
I'm really thankful to all of you who keep up with me. :D I'll definitely finish Conspiracy!!!

Finished Halloween Promo

Finished Halloween Promo for Black Lotus just now. Can't believe I finished it one day prior to originally planned. -Does it means I'm getting faster in artworks?-
  I'm going to post it on LSF on Halloween or the night before to fit the work for the theme. Seeing the results, I'm glad my coloring has improved. I must continue working on male characters more and human poses though, because even I get the feeling most of them are unnatural...

Still Working on that Halloween Promo...

I'm such a shame of an artist being so slow on working on a single decent artwork! Luckily by October 30th I could really finish it! Yey!
Still doing the lineart and making some last minute corrections. I realized the "premier" pose looked kind of unsatisfying and lacks fanservice... It's a first for me so I'm aware they kind of lack that "something" which most Boy's Love have ; decent art and damn good looking male casts! -So much for being a perfectionist freak -_-;; - 
References are really saving my life! Long live still drawn objects and online tutorials!!! \(^-^)/

Moving Unto Expressions

Yesterday I started working on the characters' expressions for the upcoming demo of Black Lotus. As always it makes me lazy, maybe because there's no excitement in it? Haha... So far everything's going well on both parties' side. Pocoscon made me read the second part of the prologue in it's awesome!
I can't wait to play it! （๑✧∀✧๑）
For the Halloween promo art, I'll start working on it from today and take a break from expression works. My goal is to finish it before October 30th! Luckily next week I have many of those free time. Here's comes my unhealthy life back. Oh, well...

Cold Autumn Greeting!

This morning, the moment I stepped out of house I was greeted by a cold autumn season. To think just some days ago on midday it still felt like summer!
Halloween is in less than a week so I should really get those sprite expressions done, not to mention I still have to work on those promo arts and omake for Black Lotus. Haha, so many things to do yet so few.
Once all sprite works are done, Pocoscon asked me if I wanted to make some omake or/and art work for the BXB project. I'm really looking forward on making them since it's also a first for me to officially release a Boy's Love omake! So nervous~~~~! ((유∀유|||))
I already have some slight ideas for the upcoming holidays though!
Seriously, this project is such a motivational after going hiatus on my own project. Speaking of project, I certainly am out of my mind considering my horrible idea! I'm planning on remaking once again Conspiracy's sprite for the 3rd time! Yep, I'm reeeally considering that possibility.
Shame on me, all talk and few deeds. ｡ﾟ( ﾟஇ‸இﾟ)ﾟ｡  Someone stop me from doing any more crazy actions!!! Hahaha xD

I can't believe October is about to finish in less than two weeks! Time sure pass by, huh? The thing I only regret is that this year DeviantArt didn't made any special Halloween Event unlike last year. o(╥﹏╥)o
What are your plans for October 31st? Are you going trick or treating or simply watch some horror movies with some friends?
I'll probably be busy working on Black Lotus's art promo on my side. I'm glad to know we reached a suitable amounts of visits on our game thread! We're only starting and I hope you'll enjoy playing it as much as we are enjoying working on it! Plus it's free! ;)
Jokes aside, it's still damn hot here in Rome! D= So much for autumn season -_-;;

Finally a bit of breathing! October is once again keeping me busy consecutively with few chance of taking a breather. Man, I keep wondering how I manage to survive my everyday. Thank you, Saturday! If I could I'd marry you and won't ever let you go! ♥～(‘▽^人)
About the Halloween promo art, I need to admit I hate working on full body shots. -yep, I'm that lazy- But what I can't believe the most is how I am really looking forward on making my first yaoi illust! -Is it right to call it that way???-  This must be the fruit of all those free times spent in reading yaoi. Can't help it though, they're so good looking and I'm aiming to have decent bishounens as well! (///Σ///)
Practice makes perfect! So does having references! Overall I think my fangirling got the best of me. Ops...?

I wonder why we don't receive any feedbacks on LSF? Do you not find it interesting enough? Does it lack something? Or maybe with more graphics you'll notice us more?
It's mind wrecking not knowing your opinions, but no matter what you do I'll give my best to this project -mainly because it's not mine so I can't slack off-
Do you find it unusual that I'm working on a dark story other than my usual fluffy works? I'm a macabre cute lover through and through!

Main Characters Finish!

Yesterday I completed the default sprites for Black Lotus' 7 main characters! -Yep,7. Got wrong with some numbers...- I already started making my personal rankings, but the finished sprites is currently making me have second thoughts.
Now, I'll be moving on working the minor characters draft sketches. After that, I'll take some break since from next week it will be a bit hectic on my side. For Halloween please look forward for a promotional art featuring Black Lotus' protagonist -*cough*I'm thinking of making him wear a sexy witch costume*cough*- 
I wonder who you'll be pursuing first among the boys available?

I even tried making some younger versions of them out of whim on my notebook.

Can't believe I'm about to finish the main characters' default sprites! Only one left and soon Black Lotus' blog ( www.octaveraingames.wordpress.com ) will be updated with some preview of their sprites! Of course their profiles will soon be planned! I'm still discussing it with Pocoscon, but overall she approved the initial plan.
I'm hoping to finish the last sprite by tomorrow, so I can start making the drafts for the minor characters! - Looking forward for Yasu's uncle ❤-

Main Characters Part 1 Complete!

Today I'm about to start working on the last remaining main characters for Black Lotus, then I'll finally move unto the secondary ones! I'm looking forward on making their character profiles which will be used to update our LSF thread or even the blog.
So far Pocoscon has found a secondary writer for the game script. So I must continue giving my best as well for our team! ^^
We also thought of making some promotional art for the game featuring some characters, but before that I need to finish all main characters!

Yesterday's Romics Voyage

Once again my Romics voyage brought me new color inspirations and refresh feelings although by nighttime my legs were killing me! As always it was held at Fiera di Roma, occupying 3 areas; 2 for gadgets and other awesome things and 1 for movie place, where movie trailers are often shown.

 I went there by afternoon upon my friend's insistence and I must say it was quite surprising knowing there were still a lot of people even after 7 p.m.
This time though my only regret was not bringing sufficient money, unlike the previous times. Can you believe I'm not satisfied?! It's a shame I couldn't buy so many items though they're the same every year, which is also a good thing since I can always buy them next time. This month's been hard on me financially speaking. (|||❛︵❛.)

But oh well, what matters the most is that I had a great time. Whenever I go there it always feels like a first! Did I mention there were Dramatical Murder cosplayers? -where's my Clear?- (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

Today I'm about to work on the 4th default sprite out of 8 characters for Black Lotus! I'm really enjoying working with Elle.  ((┌|o^▽^o|┘))♪

Before that  I have to finish an art request I received on devArt though...

So far things are going surprisingly well in terms of art, although my persistent longing for improvement is still ongoing. Also taking reference from still life images is helping quite a lot! During summer I even started giving personal names to certain colors I came crossed with, ones which almost makes difficult for me to reproduce, but overall I'm satisfied with certain improvements I made although so little. -At least from my point of view -

Black Lotus Project!

As already mentioned on my previous posts I am working as an artist for a free BXB fantasy horror mystery. So far we have 2 definite sprites out of 8 characters while the script like the art is still in writing progress. The characters' profile infos are soon to be updated so please keep an eye on us! Fear not I won't be playing hooky on this one -*cough*since it's not my own project *cough*- .
